The first ITF tournament organized by Patricio Travel on Greek soil, the Int. Kalimera Kriti Masters Open, took place from 19 to 26 October 2024 on the beautiful island of Crete and proved to be a complete success and an absolute highlight for all tennis enthusiasts. The Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort, known for its optimal combination of tennis, padel, fitness and relaxation, offered an excellent infrastructure for an international world-class tournament in its new tennis facility with 20 clay courts.
The tournament comprised the categories singles, doubles and mixed in the age groups 35+ to 60+ and provided a varied playing experience. In glorious weather and pleasant temperatures, players from 10 nations competed against each other in a total of 63 matches and showed their skills in numerous exciting encounters.
A special highlight was the gala dinner, which took place in a festive atmosphere together with participants from two other events and brought the participants together to socialize.
The atmosphere this week was lively and characterized by a sporting spirit - a successful start for this new ITF tournament on Crete, which only increases the anticipation for future editions of the Kalimera Kriti Masters Open.
