For the second time, the International Kalimera Kriti Masters Open took place from 18.10. – 25.10.2026, on the beautiful island of Crete, and this year we were delighted to welcome over 50% more participants than last year, who traveled from a total of 11 countries.
With bright sunshine and pleasant warm temperatures, the conditions were perfect for exciting matches and unforgettable days at the Kalimera Kriti Hotel, which offers the best and largest tennis and padel center in Greece.
A variety of activities were also offered off the court:
- The welcome ceremony ensured a smooth start and a great atmosphere from the very first moment.
- The Gala-Dinner on Tuesday with tennis legend Tomáš Šmíd was an absolute highlight! The players sat together in a cozy atmosphere and enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere until late into the night.
- The crowning finale was the award ceremony, where the best players were celebrated for their sporting achievements and received beautiful trophies, vouchers, and prizes.
We would like to thank everyone for the positive feedback, exciting matches, the great players who supported each other with sporting ambition, and an unforgettable atmosphere!
We are already looking forward to next year's tennis event, which we hope will continue to grow steadily. We would also like to point out that next year's tournament will take place exactly one week later.
