Pickleball lessons
Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and padel to create a particularly varied and accessible sport. Its fast pace, simple rules and high energy make pickleball the perfect sport for all ages and skill levels.
Course overview Pickleball
Throughout the season, we offer pickleball group, individual and tandem lessons for all ages and ability levels.
Groups of 8 or more full-paying participants are eligible for special group discounts (as per the group package). You can find more detailed information here.
Group courses
Group sessions will be organised with a maximum of 4 participants per coach on each court. Participants will be grouped according to their stated playing ability in order to create training groups that are as balanced as possible. Please specify any group preferences (e.g. playing with a group of friends) when booking.

Cancellation for pre-booked Patricio Racket Academy courses:
- Before holiday starts: the cancellation charge scale for package holidays in our Terms and Conditions applies.
- At the centre before the first session or after the course starts: no refund.
Any services not used will not be refunded. Prices and services as of February 2026 / Subject to changes.
If the training sessions are cancelled due to bad weather, we will try to implement those missed sessions during the week. If necessary, the tournaments may also be cancelled. However, if it is nevertheless not possible to play the training sessions later, we guarantee you 90% of the sessions. If fewer training sessions than this are played, they will be refunded at €15 per training session.
Patricio Racket Academy
- Training in small, homogeneous groups with a maximum of 4 players per court and coach
- Welcome session including an introduction to the Checkpoint training philosophy and group allocation
- Coordination-based warm-up programme
- Doubles and final tournament including an awards ceremony (in April, subject to court availability and a minimum of 8 participants)
- Dinner with the coaches
- Additional free play opportunities depending on court availability and travel dates
- Free trial rackets from the current Wilson collection during training sessions
- Court hire, organisation and a small welcome gift included
Weekly schedule
The weekly schedule includes training sessions, tournaments and evening events, and will be explained in detail during the welcome briefing.

*Free play: Free play can be booked on site every day, subject to court availability. It is only available on days when training sessions are taking place and is allocated per group for one hour per day, rather than per person.
**Doubles tournament: The tournament will take place provided there are enough places available and at least 8 people sign up; the date and time are subject to change! The final padel tournament has been cancelled.

Our courses can be booked in advance as part of a package tour through Patricio Travel.
Each offer includes a PDF listing all tennis courses along with their prices.
The desired course must be specified when booking the trip.
- The Head Quarter in Obernzell is responsible for organizing the training schedule.
- The training times for pre-booked courses (90 minutes) are as follows:
- 08:00 AM – 09:30 AM
- 09:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- 01:30 PM – 03:00 PM
- 03:00 PM – 04:30 PM
- 04:30 PM – 06:00 PM
- To ensure a fair distribution of training times for all guests, we use a daily rotating system. The schedule is arranged in advance and cannot be changed on-site.
Special requests must be stated when booking the trip and are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate them.
Yes, this is generally possible depending on availability and coach capacity.
Our tip: It’s best to book your course in advance to secure a spot, as demand is especially high during peak season.
We take great care to organize the groups as homogeneously as possible based on age, skill level, and gender. Since skill ratings (LK or R) are often inaccurate or unavailable for beginners, we have developed our own self-assessment scale (1–10).
- A few days before arrival, an email with the first important information is sent — including the location of the personal welcome.
- At the PCT welcome, the overseas staff announce the first training session as well as other important details.
- The course assignments and training times for the upcoming two days are posted at the tennis center and in front of the main restaurant.
Advance booking is generally possible. However, please note that due to our rotating system, there may be overlaps between training times and reserved courts.
Changes or refunds for pre-booked courts are not possible on-site.
Our coaches speak, among other languages, English and/or German.
